Tizer Gardens is a beautiful botanical garden and arboretum spread across 6 acres in the midst of the Elkhorn Mountains. Take some time to explore the trails while admiring all the beautiful plant life that surrounds you.

For a scenic boat ride on the Missouri river, visit Gates of the Mountains and you will see the mountains open up before you. With beautiful rock formations, cave drawings, and wildlife, there is something for everybody.

Yellowstone was the first national park created in the US. With stunning views, diverse wildlife, and incredible geology it is definitely worth a visit. Day-trip right from Boulder Hot Springs or stay the night at local campgrounds or lodges.
The closest entrance from us is the West Entrance, 145 miles south. Check their website for more information, access is limited in the winter season.
Enjoy this unique rock formation that chimes like a bell when struck. It is believed that the ringing is a combination of the composition of the rock and the way the joining patterns have developed as the rocks have eroded away. Please don't disturb this natural phenomenon!

Go to the Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park to see the famous limestone caverns. In the park you can also find hiking and biking trails and an amphitheater with events during the summer months.

Tour the beautiful capital of Montana in style! You can catch a tour on an open-air train and go by some of the historic landmarks and enjoy the architectural views on Last Chance Gulch.

The 90 feet tall Lady of the Rockies sits atop the continental divide and watches over Butte and the surrounding valleys. She was built to honor all women, especially mothers, and is one of the tallest statues in the United States.

Visit Glacier for some of the most beautiful hikes, or a scenic, mountainous drive on the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road. It's definitely worth a visit.

Hiking
Montana is a beautiful place to enjoy the views and wildlife while hiking one of many trails. Seven Generations
Only a 15-20 minute hike away is a sculpture by Frederick Franck that honors the Great Law of the Six Nation Iroquois confederacy which states that “In all our deliberations we must be mindful of the impact of our decisions on the seven generations to follow ours.” To enjoy this sculpture and the amazing views around it simply follow the trail up the hill behind the hot springs towards the southeast, once you reach a fork in the trail there will be a sign pointing you towards the sculpture through a little valley, over a bridge and up the hill on the other side.
Boulder Hot Springs/Deerlodge Trails
There are several other trails to hike towards and in the national forest. We are working on mapping those and marking them more clearly for our guests. In the meantime you can explore them yourself or ask our staff for directions!
